For Transformation from the Five Major Factors of Poverty!
This time, I would like to focus once again on "Five factors of poverty (The Big Five) " by Professor PHIL BARTLE in the U.S.
It is an analysis of the five main factors when considering poverty as a social problem.
These are “dishonesty”, “apathy”, “ignorance”, “dependency”, and “disease”.
As a solution idea, let's simply consider the opposite of this.
Dishonesty => Honesty
Apathy => Affection
Ignorance => Knowledge
Dependence => Independence
Disease => Health
We can hypothesize that these attitudes (attitudes, dispositions, and postures), such as honesty (integrity), having the affection (respect), acquiring of knowledge (attitude of learning), independence (not dependence), and having healthy lifestyle habits, are the key to solving the poverty problem.
We will probably never be able to solve the problem of poverty if we understand that it is an economic problem. To solve this problem, we must first consider the problem of each individual's attitudes. If we do not solve this problem, we will not be able to solve the poverty problem.
In short, the issue of the attitude that one should have is neither impotent nor meaningless.
“Peace advocate education” is education that draws out the person's own strength to break the intergenerational chain of poverty. As I discussed in yesterday's blog(【1051】), "Attachment," "Support," "Engagement," and "stimulation" are also elements that bring out the power of the individual.
ENCHILD is committed to the “Peace Advocates Social Education Program”, which supports the growth of beneficiaries along with the scholarship support.
