　エンチャイルド・ファミリーの皆さん、こんにちは。私はレディー・モニカ・T・ボイサーです。

　私はいつかエンジニアになって家族を支えたいと思っています。そして夢を叶えるために、熱心に勉強しています。エンチャイルド・ファミリーの皆さんの揺るぎないサポートに心から感謝しています。そして、家族にも心から感謝しています。

　子どもの頃、私はエンチャイルド・ファミリーの一員になれたことをとても幸せに感じていました。エンチャイルド・ファミリーから受けたサポートと愛情のおかげで、勉強への意欲がさらに高まりました。

　そのためには一生懸命勉強しなければなりません。私はエンチャイルド・ファミリーから受けたサポートと愛情を無駄にするつもりはありません。

　家族を支えるために、私は勉強を続け、優秀な成績を収めようと決意しています。なぜなら、夢を叶えるには、神を信頼し、献身と決意を持って努力を重ねなければならないからです。

　私の目標は、自分の夢を叶えるだけでなく、他の人々にもより良く生きることを目指せるように刺激を与えることです。

　エンチャイルド・ファミリーからのサポートと指導は、私の旅路において非常に重要な部分を占めています。夢の実現に向けて力強いサポートを受けることができて私は本当に幸運です。

　Hello Enchild Family, I am Lady Monica T. Boiser and one day I want to become an engineer to help my family. And to achieve my ambitions I am diligent in my studies to reach my dreams. I am truly grateful to Enchild Family for their unwavering support for me, and also to my family, I am very thankful to them.

　When I was a child, I was very happy because I became a part of Enchild Family. I became more motivated to study because of the support and love given to me by Enchild Family. Now that I am older, I want to become an engineer and like them because Enchild Family showed me how to be helpful and loving towards others. I really need to study hard. I will not waste the support and love that enchild have given me.

 

　I am determined to persist and excel in my studies to help my family because if we want to achieve our dreams, we must work hard and also trust in our God with dedication and determination. My goal is not only to fulfill my personal dreams but also to inspire others to aspire for excellence. 　教育は常に私の人生にとって大切な要素であり、私は常に自分の知識とスキルを広げる努力をしてきました。
　NPO法人エンチャイルドが提供してくれる奨学金プログラムの機会を得て、私は自分の願望をさらに追求し、学業と将来の職業に向けて努力し、成功を収めたいと決意しています。

　私は幼い頃から、飽くなき好奇心と知識欲を持ってきました。継続的にコツコツと学習することこそが、個人的にも仕事上でも成長する鍵だと私は信じています。
　基礎的な知識やスキルを身に付けるだけでなく、批判的思考や問題解決能力、コミュニケーション能力の育成に、教育は役立ってくれています。

　さまざまな学問分野に没頭することで、私は、知識には互いに関連性があることや、教育には総合的な重要性があることを理解するようになりました。
　エンチャイルドの奨学金プログラムを通じて私は視野を広げ、多様な学問分野を探求し、豊かな視野を養うことを目指します。

　エンチャイルドは、私のような学生たちが学業における夢を追求するために、他にはない、ユニークな機会を提供してくれています。そして、経済的な支援やメンター的サポート、そして知的成長を目指す志を同じくする学生たちのネットワークを提供してくれています。

　つまりエンチャイルドは、経済的支援だけをする団体ではなく、私の学業における旅、そして愛を形作る旅において、変革的な経験を私にもたらしてくれているのです。

　Education has always been a vital part of my life, and I have constantly strived to expand my knowledge and skills. With the opportunity offered by the NPO ENCHILD, I am determined to pursue my aspirations further and achieve success in my academic and professional endeavors.

　エンチャイルド・ユースたちの雄姿を、とくとご覧あれ！

　こんにちは、エンチャイルドの広報担当、地球村山歩です。 

　今回の入院を通して、点滴生活と、たくさんの検査を経験しました。

　一日数回の検温と血圧測定、そして採血（血液検査）に数種類の点滴。

　採血で左腕に針を刺し、点滴で右腕に針を刺す。点滴の針は長い。入院中、5～６回くらい針を差し替えました。

　血中酸素濃度も常にチェックし、酸素補給のために鼻腔カニューラをしばらくの間、使用していました。

　血を吐き、血を抜かれ、貧血をチェックするためにまた血を採られる。手術後に高熱が続いたので、いくつかの種類の抗生剤も投与されることになりました。

　元エンチャイルド奨学生で看護師になったカリルさん（ミンダナオ）はそれを聞いて、「それは強い抗生剤。使っちゃ駄目」と随分、心配してくれました。

　胃や食道、十二指腸、鼻の中、そして気管支と肺も内視鏡で検査しました。以前、胃カメラで自分の胃の中は見たことがありましたが、鼻の中や肺の中は初めて。特に血にまみれた肺の中や気管支の姿にはわれながらちょっと引いてしまいました。


　いったい自分の体の中で何が起きているのか？

　きょう、退院後初めての外来診察を受けてきました。
　血液検査の結果もまずまず。レントゲンの結果を見る限り、肺も大分きれいになっているようです。
　
　「特発性喀血症」。このなんとも原因不明な雰囲気漂うモヤモヤした響きの病名。

　診察の最後に、担当医が「喀血したらすぐ来てくださいね」とさらりと締めくくり、思わず苦笑した山歩でした。

　とにかく望むことは、再発しないこと。

　今のところ、特段の問題は認められていませんが、前回の検査では出血が多くて十分にできなかった気管支鏡検査をもう一度行うために、月末2泊3日で検査入院する予定です。

　延期したエンチャイルドの年次総会の後の時期になりますが、ちょっと緊張しますね。

　これで新たな問題が見つからなければ、診療はいったん終了となる見込みなのですが、果たして…。

　こんにちは。私はファージー・ビンス・パバタンです。17歳で、ダヒカンのエンチャイルド奨学生です。お元気でお過ごしのことと思います。NPO法人エンチャイルドの奨学生になりたいという強い思いをお伝えしたくて、この手紙を書いています。

　エンチャイルド奨学生のプログラムは、私にとって常にインスピレーションの源であり、学問的成長や人間的成長を追求する素晴らしい機会を提供してくれていると信じています。

　幼い頃から、さまざまな分野の知識を学び、探求することに情熱を注いできました。新しい情報を得て、知的に挑戦することに常に喜びを感じてきました。

　若い奨学生を育成し、彼らが成長するためのプラットフォームを提供することに尽力するエンチャイルド奨学生プログラムは、教育に対する私の目標と完全に一致しています。

　子どもたちの力を引き出し、成長を支えることに尽力しているこの素晴らしいグループの一員であることは、私の人生を豊かにしてくれただけでなく、大きな夢を抱き、世界に良い影響を与えたいという思いを芽生えさせてくれました。

　エンチャイルドとの関わりを通して、私は教育の力が若い人たちの心を形作り、次の世代により明るい未来を築く原動力になることを直接感じています。

　今回は人生コラムをお届けします。

撮影、山歩。散歩も再開しました

　「人生は美しい！ 生きることは素晴らしい！ 君はいつも病気のことばかり考えて、暗く、うつむいている。それじゃあ、いけない。人間には『死ぬ』ことと同じくらい、避けられないことがあるんだ。それは『生きる』ことだよ」

　これは、チャーリー・チャップリンの言葉です。

　確かに、深刻な疾患に罹ると人は死を連想し、その方向に向かって思いを巡らせます。山歩も今回そんな境地を通過しました。

　チャップリンの言葉の肝は、人間は死ぬことも、生きることも、いずれも避けることのできない重大な人生のテーマだと指摘していることです。

　死と生、生と死は背中合わせ。死を考えることは生を考えること、生を考えることは死を考えること、なのではないか。

　
　「人生は美しい！ 生きることは素晴らしい！」

　これは病の中にあってこそ、見いだすことのできる真理の一つだと思います。

　病にあってこそ、見えてくるものがあるということです。
　逆にいえば、病に意味があるとすれば、病によって生を見いだす機会を得ること、生の価値の輝きに気付くことなのかもしれません。

　しかし「生」は常に努力することを求めます。努力とは、自らなそうとすることです。「求めよ、さらば与えられん」ということもできるでしょう。そのようにして人間の責任感が養われ、自律性と自立性が高められていくのです。

　「死」の扉は時に多くの「生」への気付きをもたらします。
　不安と恐れの心を手放すことで、「生」の扉は開かれるのです。

　幼い頃から、勇敢に波を乗り越え、未知なる世界を航海し、遠い海をつなぐ船乗りたちに憧れていました。船員になりたいという私の夢は、冒険心、海への愛、そして世界の海運業界に貢献できる機会に恵まれるからです。

　この職業に最も惹（ひ）かれるのは、世界を探検できる機会があるからです。さまざまな国を訪れ、多様な文化に触れ、自然の驚異を目の当たりにすることは、私にとって大きな喜びです。

　さらに海運業界は、世界貿易において重要な役割を果たしています。この重要なネットワークの一員になることは、私にやりがいと誇りを与えてくれます。

　船員になることは、成長と忍耐という私の価値観にも合致しています。

　有能な海運のプロフェッショナルになるための訓練は厳しいものですが、私はそれを自分の人格とスキルを磨く機会だと考えています。

　Since I was kid, I have always admired seafarers who brave the waves, navigate the unknown, and connect distant shores. My aspiration to become a seaman stems from my desire for adventure, love for the ocean, and the opportunity to contribute to the global maritime industry.

‎　What attracts me most to this career is the opportunity to explore the world. The idea of visiting different countries, experiencing diverse cultures, and witnessing the wonders of nature excites me. Moreover, the maritime industry plays a crucial role in global trade, and being a part of this essential network gives me a sense of purpose and pride.

‎　Becoming a seaman also aligns with my personal values of growth and perseverance. The training process to become a competent maritime professional is rigorous, but I see it as an opportunity to strengthen my character and skills. I am eager to learn about navigation, maritime safety, and modern technologies that keep the industry moving forward.

アンナ・ソフィア・メンドーサ

　大人への一歩を踏み出した19歳の私は、夢や希望、そして世界に良い影響を与えたいという強い思いに満ちています。CSUCC（Caraga State University – Cabadbaran Campus：カラガ州立大学カバドバランキャンパス）の学生として、私は学業に励むだけでなく、誰かの希望や勇気のきっかけになれるような存在を目指しています。

　エンチャイルドの奨学金は、単なる経済的支援にとどまらず、努力と決意、そして諦めない心があれば必ず道は開けるという信念を示してくれる大切な証しです。
　この機会を得たことは私の人生の大きな転機となりました。これまでの努力が認められ、頑張り続ければ必ず報われるということを学びました。この奨学金のおかけで経済的な不安を抱くことなく、学業や自分自身の成長にしっかりと向き合えることができるようになり、新たな目標と揺るぎない決意を胸に夢に向かって歩み続けています。

　これまでの道のりは決して楽なものではありませんでした。何度も困難に直面し、時には熱意が消えそうになったこともありました。しかし試練を乗り越えるたびに、私の成し遂げたいという情熱はさらに強まっていきました。
　成功への道は必ずしも真っすぐな道ではなく、山あり谷ありの連続です。そんな困難を乗り越える中で私たちは自分自身の本当の可能性を見いだすことができるのだと、私は学びました。

　情熱と諦めない心があれば、きっと大きな喜びにたどり着けます。心から追い求めてください。チャンスを探し、困難に立ち向かい、地道な努力を続けてください。あなたを信じてくれる人、支えてくれる人の存在を大切にしてください。どんな挫折も次への準備であり、失敗は成功に近づくための一歩だということを、どうか忘れないでいてください。

　エンチャイルドは、私の経済的な負担を取り除いてくれただけでなく、教育は変化を生み出す力強い武器であるという私の信念をさらに強めてくれました。
　そしてもっと大きな夢に向かって、さらに高く突き進んでいく勇気をも与えてくれました。私はこの支援に心から感謝するとともに、自分の力を最大限に生かして尽力することを誓います。

　At nineteen, standing on the cusp of adulthood, I am filled with dreams, aspirations, and a burning desire to make a meaningful impact on the world. As a student at CSUCC, I am not only pursuing academic excellence but also seeking to become a beacon of hope and inspiration for others. 

　The scholarship I have received is not just a financial aid but a profound testament to the belief that hard work, determination, and resilience can pave the way to success. Receiving this scholarship has been a pivotal moment in my life. It is a recognition of my efforts and a reminder that perseverance pays off. It has provided me with the resources to pursue my education without the looming burden of financial constraints, allowing me to focus entirely on my studies and personal growth. I am pursuing my dreams with a renewed sense of purpose and an unwavering commitment to achieving my goals.

　Enchild has not only eased my financial burdens but has also reaffirmed my belief that education is a powerful tool for change. It has given me the confidence to dream bigger, to aim higher, and to strive for excellence in all my endeavors. I am deeply grateful for this opportunity and am committed to making the most of it. 　過ぎた1年を振り返り、私は深い感謝と達成感で満たされています。挑戦と成長、そして忘れがたい経験のタペストリーのようなこの1年でした。
　私は学業の厳しさに直面しましたが、この旅を本当に素晴らしいものにしてくれたのは、その過程で出会った人たちのおかげでした。 

　今振り返ってみると、最も印象に残っている瞬間は、学業での成果や乗り越えたハードルだけでなく、周囲のコミュニティーから受けた優しさやサポートでした。
　純粋に親切で助けてくれるグループの一員であったことが、私に違いを生みました。生涯の友情となった勉強会であれ、つらい一日を明るくしてくれたシンプルな親切であれ、こうした交流が私の旅を最もポジティブに形作ってくれました。 

　この1年、成功とは個人の努力だけでなく、周囲の人たちのサポートや励ましの集合体であることを学びました。私の仲間や指導者たちは力強い柱のような存在であり、いつでも手を差し伸べ、知識を分かち合い、自分の限界を超えて突き進むよう私を駆り立ててくれました。
　このような仲間意識と相互尊敬の念が、成長し、探求し、時には失敗しても、頼れるネットワークがあれば大丈夫だと私が思える環境を育んでくれました。 

　来年を前にして、私は希望と興奮に満ちています。私はこの学習と自己啓発の旅を続けたいと熱望しており、この先に待ち受ける新たな挑戦と機会を受け入れたいと思っています。私の目標は、この1年で築いた土台の上に、しっかりと学業を修めることを追求し、自分のスキルと知識をさらに発展させることです。 

　さらに、私に多くを与えてくれた地域社会に恩返しをすることに全力を尽くします。他の人たちが私にしてくれたように、私も他の人たちを支え、励ます存在になりたいです。優しさと協力の環境を育むことで、誰もが価値を感じ、ベストを尽くす力を与えられる文化に貢献したいと思っています。 

　今年度は新しいプロジェクトに挑戦し、グループ活動にもっと積極的に参加し、リーダーシップと奉仕の機会を求めていくつもりです。こうした努力を通じて、学生としてだけでなく、人間としても成長し続けることができると信じています。この1年は、回復力、適応力、コミュニティーの力の大切さを私に教えてくれました。 

　結論として、この1年を振り返ると達成感と感謝の気持ちでいっぱいになります。
　支えてくれる親切なグループの一員であったことは、私の旅路において大きな助けになりましたし、このような精神を持つコミュニティーをこれから未来において育成していきたいと思っています。

　私たちは共に偉大なことを成し遂げ、お互いの人生に良い影響を与えることができると信じています。

 Reflecting on the year that has passed, I am filled with a profound sense of gratitude and accomplishment. This year has been a tapestry of challenges, growth, and unforgettable experiences. As a student, I faced the rigors of academic life, but what made this journey truly remarkable were the people I encountered along the way. 

　Looking back, I realize that the moments that stand out the most are not solely about academic achievements or the hurdles I overcame, but the kindness and support I received from the community around me. Being part of a group where everyone is genuinely kind and helpful has made all the difference. Whether it was study sessions that turned into lifelong friendships, or simple acts of kindness that brightened a tough day, these interactions have shaped my journey in the most positive ways. 

　In this past year, I’ve learned that success is not just about personal effort, but also about the collective support and encouragement from those around us. My peers and mentors have been pillars of strength, always ready to lend a hand, share their knowledge, and motivate me to push beyond my limits. This sense of camaraderie and mutual respect has fostered an environment where I felt safe to grow, explore, and sometimes even fail – knowing that I had a network to fall back on.

　As a college student taking up a Bachelor of Science in Social Work, I have many aspirations that

guide my actions and decisions. At the core of these dreams is the desire to find happiness and

satisfaction in every aspect of my life. I want to live a life filled with joy, purpose, and fulfillment

while helping others and growing as a person.

　One of my top priorities is to do well in my studies and survive college life. Being a student is not

easy, but I believe that hard work, discipline, and determination will help me succeed. Education is

the foundation of my future, and I know that the effort I put into my studies today will shape the

opportunities I have tomorrow. I aim to stay focused and overcome the challenges of college life

because I know this is a stepping stone toward achieving my goals.

　I also dream of building a meaningful career in social work. Helping people in need has always

been a passion of mine, and I want to use my skills and knowledge to make a difference in their

lives. Whether it’s assisting families, supporting children, or guiding communities, I hope to be a

source of hope and strength for others.

　As an Enchild scholar, I have been blessed with the support and encouragement to pursue my

dreams. This scholarship has been a significant part of my journey, and it inspires me to give back

someday. I want to help others, just as I have been helped. My goal is to pay forward the kindness

親愛なる支援者の皆さん

　皆さんが健康でお過ごしであることを願っています。
　私は心からの感謝の気持ちと2014年からのエンチャイルド奨学生としての歩みを分かち合いたくてこの手紙を書いています。
　NPOエンチャイルドからの変わらぬサポートと（教育の）機会は、私の人生と未来を形作る大きな力となっています。

　2014年に奨学生となった時、希望と不安の混じる心境でしたが、皆さんからの寛大なご支援と励ましによって私は救われ、もう一度新しい力で私自身の学びと夢に向かって進むことができました。
　年月を重ねるごとに、皆さんからのサポートの影響は深く、そして広がりのあるものとなっていきました。

　この数年の間、私はエンチャイルドが企画した多くの教育プログラムやワークショップ、地域のための活動に参加する機会があり、どの経験も私の知識やスキル、個性をより豊かにするものでした。
　エンチャイルドからの学習支援だけでなく生活に役立つ知識や大切な価値観は、私個人や将来のための成長において、かけがえのないものとなっています。

　When I first became an Enchild Scholar in 2014, I was filled with a mix of hope and uncertainty. The generous sponsorship and mentorship provided by the organization offered me a lifeline, enabling me to pursue my education and dreams with renewed vigor. Over the years, the impact of your support has been profound and far-reaching.

　私は自分の目標や夢を達成することを熱望しています。また、人に恩返しをすることは、私の責任であると同時に特権でもあると信じています。
　私は幸運にも、愛する人からサポートと指導を受けることができました。自分の実績とスキルを生かして他の人々を元気づけることで、支援を頂いた人たちの優しさに報いることが私の願望です。 

　これまで受けた教育に感謝しています。学校は私に学問的な知識を与えてくれただけでなく、価値ある人生についても教えてくれました。
　教育は誰もが受けられるわけではない特権であり、自分が受けた教育を通して、世界に前向きな変化をもたらすことが私の願望です。

　日本の支援者の皆さま

　2014年にエンチャイルド（の支援式典）に初めて参加した時、私は地域社会に貢献したいという思いに突き動かされました。子どもたちの教育と福祉のために支援するというエンチャイルド使命は、私にとって深く共感できるものでした。

　私は、貢献したい、学びたい、集められた努力が若者の人生に与える影響を目の当たりにしたいと強く思いました。（スタディーツアーの）さまざまなプログラムや活動を進めていく中で、最初の数日間は興奮と緊張が入り混じった日々でした。

　エンチャイルドで体験した最も重要なことの一つは、子どもたちとその家族が直面しているさまざまな課題を理解することでした。これにより、自分が持っているリソースとチャンスへの感謝が深まり、恵まれない人たちのためにもっと頑張ろうという決意が強まりました。

　子どもたちの笑顔と揺るぎない希望が、私のモチベーションの源となりました。長年にわたり、NPOエンチャイルドはいくつかのマイルストーンを達成しました。私はその一員であることを誇りに思っています。

　エンチャイルドは活動範囲を拡大し、さまざまな関係者と協力し、子どもたちの変化するニーズに対応する革新的なプログラムを立ち上げました。

　When I first joined Enchild in 2014, I was motivated by a desire to give back to the community. The organization's mission to support children's education and welfare resonated deeply with me. I was eager to contribute, learn, and witness the impact of collective efforts on young lives. The initial days were filled with a mix of excitement and nervousness as I navigated through various projects and activities.

　One of the most significant learning experiences was understanding the diverse challenges faced by the children and their families. This deepened my appreciation for the resources and opportunities I had and strengthened my resolve to work harder for those less fortunate. The smiles on the children's faces and their unwavering hope became my source of motivation. Over the years, NPO Enchild achieved several milestones that I am proud to have been a part of. 

　We expanded our reach, collaborated with various stakeholders, and launched innovative programs that addressed the evolving needs of the children. Witnessing the transformation in the lives of these children, from improved academic performance to enhanced well-being, was immensely rewarding.

　One memorable project was the launch of a scholarship program that provided financial support to deserving students. Seeing these students excel academically and pursue their dreams was a testament to the impact of Enchild's work. It reinforced my belief that education is a powerful tool for breaking the cycle of poverty and empowering individuals to create a better future.

　Looking ahead, my aspirations are to continue contributing to Enchild's mission, expand our reach, and deepen our impact. I hope to inspire others to join this cause, creating a ripple effect that will touch more lives. The journey is far from over, and I am committed to being a part of Enchild's legacy of hope, education, and empowerment. My experience with NPO Enchild has been transformative. 　高校時代の3年間の経験を振り返ると、課題を克服し、成長できたことを誇りに思います。
　学業と課外活動のバランスを取るために、時間管理と自制心（セルフ・コントロール）の重要性を学びました。

　大学１年生としての私の抱負は、学業で自分を奮い立たせ、知識を広げ、スキルを身に付け続けることです。最も興味のある科目の理解を深め、より高度な科目を受講したいと考えています。

　さらに知的視野を広げる新しい科目や研究分野を探求するつもりです。
　大学生活は時に圧倒され、ストレスがたまることもありますが、前向きな姿勢を保ち、セルフケアを優先する決意です。

　これからの一年間の課題とチャンスにワクワクする一方で、大学生活への移行に伴う潜在的な困難に対しても意識しています。

　NPO法人エンチャイルドの奨学生として、エンチャイルドは私に、将来夢をかなえるために、そして良い成績を取るために一生懸命勉強するように励ましてくれています。

　Looking back on my senior high experience, I am proud of the challenges I　overcame and the growth I experienced. I learned the importance of time management and self-discipline in order to balance my academic responsibilities with extracurricular activities.

　Moving forward, my aspiration as a freshman college student is to continue pushing myself academically and expanding my knowledge and skills. I hope to deepen my understanding of the subjects I am most interested in and take on more advanced coursework.

　Additionally, I plan to explore new subjects and areas of study that broaden my intellectual horizons. I am also aware that college can be overwhelming and stressful at times, but I am determined to maintain a positive attitude and prioritize self-care. While I am excited about the challenges and opportunities of the upcoming year, I am also mindful of the potential difficulties that may come with the transition to college life.

　As a scholar of NPO Enchild Japan, enchild push me to study hard to get good grades to make my dreams come true in the future. Enchild inspired and teaches me how to grow with respect to my family and other people. They also show love and respect beyond everything no matter what.

　Enchild family can provide me with the support, advice, and resources to succeed. I aspire to continue pushing myself academically and challenging my intellectual abilities. I am excited to explore new areas of study and meet new people from diverse backgrounds.

I am grateful for the experiences and lessons of my first year, and I look forward to the challenges and growth that the upcoming year will bring.

　私のエンチャイルドファミリーの一員としての人生はとても驚くべきものです。

　今までの年月を振り返ると、フィリピンの奨学生一人一人のために、より良い人生を提供する活動に貢献していることがとても素晴らしいことだと感じています。

　当初、私は父のアシスタントとしてイベントに携わり、荷物を運ぶといった小さな仕事をしていましたが、その経験が私にとって大切なステップとなり、今では編集スタッフの一員として、イベント全体を担う役割を果たすまでに成長しました。

　そして、個人として、また学生として自らの経験や考え、直面した課題をどう乗り越えたかなどを他の人と共有できるようにもなりました。

　この20年は私にとって夢のような日々で、それが現実のものとなりました。
　以前から、フィリピンの教育問題がどれほど深刻なのかを想像してきました。多くの学生たちは社会経済的な困難を抱え、公立学校では教育に必要な物資や施設が不足しており、その結果、フィリピンの学生たちは読み書き能力や創造力を十分に伸ばすことができない状況にありました。

　それでも多くの学生たちは教育こそが自分たちの人生の目標を達成するための方法であると信じており、私自身もこの考えを常に信じています。このような学生たちに奨学金などの経済的支援や励ましがあれば、教育を追求するための大きな助けになると私は思っていました。

　さらに、NPOエンチャイルドは単なる団体ではなく、家族のような存在でもあります。フィリピンの学生たちのために多額の費用を惜しみなく提供し、また現地に足を運んでくださる日本のスポンサーのかたがたの姿勢には非常に感動しています。

　日本の皆さんにも予期せぬ状況が発生したり、個人的な問題に直面したりといったさまざまな事情があると思います。それでも私たちのために一貫して明るく希望に満ちた方向へと進み続ける姿勢を私は知っています。

　これからもNPOエンチャイルドがさらに成功することを心から願っています！

　My life being part of the Enchild Family is very astonishing, recalling the years that have passed and it was pretty amazing that I am able to take part and contribute for the betterment and creating an impact of every life of young Filipino students that are scholars of the organization. Making small steps like being an assistant to my father during an event or to carry backpacks that has things that are important for the activity until that I was given an opportunity to cover the whole event as part of the editing staff and being able to share my experiences, views, and ideas about my life as a person or as a college student and the challenges that I have dealt and especially on how I am able to overcome it.

　Twenty (20) years have passed for me it’s like a dream, a dream where it became a reality. I imagined before about how serious the problem about the education in the Philippines. Many students faced difficulties in the socioeconomic status and the lack of educational materials and facilities in public schools. It led to a problematic scenario concerning the literacy and creative capabilities of every Filipino students. Despite all of that, many Filipino students believed that education is their way to achieve their desired goals in life, even me I always believe from that notion. For me, if these students were given financial support like scholarships and be inspired then it would be a great help for them to pursue their education and it really happened though the astounding support of NPO ENCHILD Japan. The organization Mission and Vision fuels the burning passion of inspiring and supporting young Filipino students to further improve themselves and aim higher for a better future. Led by Mr. Takanori Todate, the Chairman of NPO ENCHILD Japan made these things possible. Mr. Todate’s dedication and efforts contributed for the successful scholarship programs that have been conducted here in the Philippines with over a thousand filipino students were given support for over Twenty (20) Years and counting.

　Moreover, NPO ENCHILD is not just an organization but it is like a family. The willingness to spend big amount of money to support young Filipino students financially and to exert efforts to visit the Philippines are very commendable and inspiring to see from the Japanese Sponsors. I know it is somehow challenging from the Japan side to maintain the collaborative efforts due to the many unforeseen circumstances and also personal life. But, the consistency and optimism prevailed. Wishing for more successful years of NPO ENCHILD!

　お待たせしました。

　3月、1回だけのニュース＆リポートの配信となってしまいましたが、ENCHILD NEWS ＆ REPORT 2025年3月15日・25日合併号として公開することができました。ぎりぎりですが、3月中に公開できてほっとしています。

　2024年12月から2025年1月にかけて、エンチャイルド・ユースたちは自ら企画し、自ら実践する「クリスマス（サンタになろう！）プロジェクト」に取り組みました。

年度末、思うところあって、「行ってまいりました！」

　エンチャイルドの教育支援事業に関心のあるかた、事務局までお気軽にご一報ください。

　ミンダナオ地域の29人目は、マガリャネス、サント・ニーニョ小学校出身のエンチャイルド奨学生、アルフレッド・カシル君（カラガ・ステート大学 環境学専攻 1年）です。

　アルフレッド・カシル君のエッセーを読むと、エンチャイルドの教育支援だけでなく、同じ仲間であるエンチャイルド奨学生同士が刺激し合っていることがよく分かります。
　
　エンチャイルドは、子どもたちが夢と志を持って生きられる社会の実現を目指して、教育支援事業を行っています。故に、エンチャイルドの教育支援は必然的に社会教育的要素を包括するようになります。

　後輩たちは先輩たちの背中を見て育ちます。
　そして遠からず、先輩たちは受益者から支援者となり、ピース・アドボケイトとなってより良い社会の実現者の一人となっていくことでしょう。

　タンポポの種子が綿毛によって風に乗って運ばれるように、ピース・アドボケイトの種子（エンチャイルド奨学生たちおよびその卒業生）が学業を終えてそれぞれの新天地に向かって羽ばたき、社会に着地し、その花を咲かせ、実を実らせてほしいと願っています。

アルフレッド・カシル

　過去一年を振り返ると、エンチャイルドの仲間が大学の学位を取得するのを見て、私は多くのインスピレーションを得ました。彼らの業績は、私が新入生として大学に入学する準備をする上で、私を奮い立たせてくれました。

　大学では、精神的にも経済的にも、高校とは異なる課題が待ち受けていることを理解しています。この認識が、勉強に集中し、人生における新しい章を最大限に活用する強い動機を与えてくれました。

　環境科学の学位を取得することは、ずっと私の夢でした。

　大学に入学するに当たり、これからの一年の抱負は、新しいことを学び、スキルを高めて、環境保護に貢献し、将来の気候変動問題に立ち向かうための解決策を開発することです。

　具体的な目標の一つは、他の人々に意識を広めることができるように、学業を修め、環境保護に貢献することです。多くの新しい課題に直面することは分かっていますが、懸命に努力し、やる気を持って取り組む準備ができています。

　学問への志に加えて、私はNPOエンチャイルドの一員であることに深く感謝しています。

　この組織は私のインスピレーションの源の一つであり、サポートと指導を提供することで、私は夢を持ち続け、人間的にも学問的にも成長することができました。

　エンチャイルドのコミュニティー意識と共通の目的は、私の志に大きく影響しました。私は、エンチャイルド仲間たちとの団結と、私のような学生にチャンスを与えるためにたゆまぬ努力をしてくださる支援者の皆さんに刺激を受けています。

　最終的に、エンチャイルドのメンバーから得たインスピレーションにより、私は自分の選んだ分野で意味のある影響を与えたいと思うようになりました。

　彼らがそれぞれの分野で成功していることから、私は努力と決意があれば目標を達成し、自分と周りの人々のためにより明るい未来をつくることができることが分かりました。

　この新しいエキサイティングな旅を始めるに当たり、私は自分の前にあるチャンスとそのために解決すべき課題を楽しみにしています。

　Looking back on the past year, I've found a lot of inspiration in seeing my fellow ate and kuya at Enchild successfully complete their college degrees. Their achievements have motivated me as I prepare to start college as a freshman. I understand that college will bring different challenges compared to high school, both mentally and financially. This realization has given me strong motivation to focus on my studies and make the most of this new chapter.

　Pursuing a degree in Environmental Science has always been a dream of mine.

　As I enter college, my aspiration for the year ahead is to learn new things and enhance my skills to contribute to our environment and develop solutions to combat climate challenges in the future. One of my specific goals also is to complete my studies so that I can help protect our environment while also spreading awareness among others. I know I will face many new challenges, but I am prepared to tackle them with hard work and motivation.

　In addition to my academic aspirations, I am deeply grateful for being part of NPO ENCHILD. This organization has been one of my sources of inspiration, allowing me to continue dreaming and enhance my personal and academic growth by them providing support and guidance. The sense of community and shared purpose within ENCHILD has greatly influenced my aspirations. I am inspired by the unity of my fellow ENCHILD and to our supporting mentors, who tirelessly work to provide opportunities for students like me.

　Ultimately, the inspiration I have drawn from my fellow ENCHILD members had made me realize to make a meaningful impact in my chosen field. Their success in their own fields has shown me that with hard work and determination, I can achieve my goals and create a brighter future for myself and to the people around me. As I start this new and exciting journey, I look forward to the opportunities and challenges ahead of me.

　子供の頃、10 年とはどんな感じだろうとよく考えていました。10 年後に自分はどれだけ成長できるだろうか、その間、どんな人たちと一緒にいるだろうかと考えていました。

　20 歳になった今、この 10 年を振り返り、この 10 年間が今の自分を形成したことを実感できます。それは主に、NPOであるエンチャイルド・ファミリーと共に過ごした時間のおかげです。

　エンチャイルド・ファミリーは、親切や愛、そして与えることの深い意味を教えてくれました。親切、寛大さ、団結、愛が私のような人々に希望とサポートを与える主な要素であることを教えてくれたのです。彼らの無私の行為と揺るぎないサポートを通して、私は、優しさは単なる行動ではなく生き方であることを学びました。

　エンチャイルド・ファミリーの一員であることで、私は数え切れないほどの思いやりと共感の行為を目撃することができました。私は、たった一つの思いやりの行為が波及効果を生み出し、前向きな気持ちを広め、他の人にも同じことをするように促す様子を見てきました。これらの行為が原動力となって、成長と和合、人を育み、元気づける、強力で協力的なコミュニティーを生み出しました。

　エンチャイルド・ファミリーで経験した最も思い出深い経験の一つは、毎年恒例のスタディーツアーです。このツアーは、私をエンチャイルド・ファミリーに近づけ、思いやりのある人々に囲まれることの影響についての理解を深めました。

　スタディーツアーは、同じ考えを持つ人々とつながる機会を与えてくれただけでなく、支援のネットワークが人生にもたらす大きな変化を教えてくれました。スタディーツアー中に築かれた友情と絆は、私の個人的な成長に影響を与え、前向き生きる私の信念を強めてくれました。

　このような帰属意識とサポートは、私の成長の礎となっています。エンチャイルド・ファミリーが与えてくれた愛、励まし、知恵に深く感謝しています。

　他の人を元気づけようとする彼らの献身は、私がこれらの価値観を受け入れ、自分の生活に取り入れるよう促してくれました。

　私は、どこへ行っても前向きさと優しさを広めることを目標に、彼らが教えてくれた教訓を今後も引き継いでいきたいと考えています。

　When I was a child, I often wondered what a decade feels like. I wondered how much I could grow as a person after 10 years and who would be the people I’d be with during that time. Now, at 20 years old, I can reflect on the past decade and see how the second ten years of my life have shaped me into the person I am today, largely thanks to my time with the NPO Enchild Family.

　The NPO Enchild Family has shown me the deep meaning of kindness, love, and giving. It has introduced me to a world where kindness, generosity, unity, and love are the main elements of providing hope and support to people like me. Through their selfless acts and unwavering support, I have learned that kindness is not just an action but a way of life.

　Being part of this family has allowed me to witness countless acts of compassion and empathy. I have seen how a single act of kindness can create a ripple effect, spreading positivity and inspiring others to do the same. The roots of these actions have grown and intertwined, creating a strong and supportive community that nurtures and uplifts everyone within it.

　One of the most memorable experiences I've had with the NPO Enchild Family is our annual Enchild study tour. These tours have brought me closer to my NPO Enchild Family and deepened my understanding of the impact that surrounding oneself with compassionate individuals can have. Each tour not only provided me with opportunities to connect with like-minded people but also showed me the profound difference that a supportive network can make in one's life. The friendships and bonds formed during these tours have been instrumental in my personal growth and have reinforced my belief in the power of positive influences.

　This sense of belonging and support has been a cornerstone of my development. I am deeply grateful to the Enchild Family for the love, encouragement, and wisdom they have provided. Their dedication to uplifting others has inspired me to embrace these values and integrate them into my own life. I am committed to carrying forward the lessons they have taught me, with the goal of spreading positivity and kindness wherever I go.

　ミンダナオ地域の27人目は、マガリャネス、ブハン小学校出身のエンチャイルド奨学生、キャシーライデ ・サロンさん（カラガ・ステート大学 経営学専攻 2年）です。

　キャシーライデ ・サロンさんはいつも笑顔がすてきな明るい女の子です。

　子どもたちがまず自らの「自立」のために集中できるようにサポートすること。そうすれば、おのずと、他者を支えようとする心が育まれると信じます。

　自立・共立の精神は、自分自身の過去と現在と未来を自覚することから生まれてくるのかもしれません。
　かけがえのない他者との出会いは、自らの存在感と自尊心（自己肯定感）を高めます。
