さて、今日のエンチャイルド奨学生による寄稿は、ミンダナオ島ブトゥアン市バランガイ・マウグのラッセル・M・カロイさん（21歳、大学2年生）のエッセーです。
今なお、COVID-19に対する戦いは続いています。ラッセルさんがその戦いの最前線に立つ人々への思いをつづってくれました。

最前線に立つ人々
最前線に立つ人々、彼らは国の新しい英雄であり、人々に奉仕することを惜しみません。彼らは人々が安全のために自らの犠牲をためらいません。彼らは家族から遠く離れていても、感染した人々が彼らを必要としていることを常に考えています。
最前線に立つ人々は、この試練の時に命を危険にさらす戦闘機です。果たすべき義務に対する彼らの情熱に勝るものはありません。
私たちがたとえウイルスに直面しても、愛と団結を通してそれを排除できるというインスピレーションをもたらします。
私は世界中の警察官、看護師、医師、教師、そして全ての最前線に立つ人々に敬意を表します。彼らの犠牲と忍耐に感謝します。
彼らが私たちのヒーローであることを忘れません。世界はまもなくCovid-19から解放されることでしょう。

Frontliners
Frontliners, You are the new heroes of the country, they love serving to the people. They sacrifice their own life for everyone to be safe. Even though they're far away from their respective families, they always think that the people who are infected need them.
Frontliners, Is a fighter who risk their lives especially on this trying times. Nothing beats their passion toward their pledged obligations, let them be our inspiration that no matter what virus we may face, we can eliminate it through unity and love. I salute all the frontliners out there the police officers, nurses, doctors, teachers, and other frontliners all over the world. Thank you for your sacrifices and also your patience. We always remember that they are our heroes who secure that the world will soon Covid-19 free.
