If I were to be asked, I would say that the chicken is the one who came first than the egg. It's because God created animals, and chicken is an animal. In the Genesis record of the Great Creator’s work on Day Five, God said, “Let the waters teem with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth in the open expanse of the heavens.” God created the great sea monsters and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarmed after their kind, and every winged fowl after its kind; and God saw that it was good. God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.”

　It was not stated in the bible that God created an egg. It says there that He created animals. Therefore, the chicken was created first with the capability of making eggs for reproduction.

　Some researchers also said that an egg can only exist if it had been created inside a chicken. Therefore, chicken really came first.

　On the other hand, based on an scientific explanation, eggs, generally speaking, existed before chickens did. The oldest fossils of dinosaur eggs and embryos are about 190 million years old. Archaeopteryx fossils, which are the oldest generally accepted as birds, are around 150 million years old, which means that birds in general came after eggs in general.

　In general, until now, there isn't accurate answer about it. We can only rely on what we believe.
