　こんにちは、エンチャイルドの広報担当、地球村山歩です。

　すでにご案内のとおり、7月2日に開催された日比オンライン交流会は、「エンチャイルドの教育支援は他の教育支援と何が違うのか？～エンチャイルド奨学生が語る、エンチャイルドの教育支援」というテーマで8人の奨学生にスピーチしてもらいました。

　【959】では、オーブレイ・マイルズ・ブクエさんのスピーチを紹介しましたが、今回は、ミンダナオ島北東部地域ブトゥアン市バランガイ・マウグのエンチャイルド奨学生、アン・ドミニク・クリランさん（19歳、セント・ジョセフ工科大学 1年）のスピーチをお届けします。

エンチャイルドは他の教育支援と何が違うのか？

～当事者が語る、エンチャイルドの教育支援

　学業継続のために経済的支援を必要とする私のような学生は、NPO法人エンチャイルドに大変感謝しています。

　エンチャイルドは、人生の目標を達成し、より良い未来をつかむために学業を続けたい学生を支援してくれている団体です。また、エンチャイルドのサポートは家計の出費を減らしてくれるという意味でも、私の家族にとって大きな助けとなっています。

　さらにエンチャイルドの奨学金プログラムは、経済的な支援だけでなく、私たちが将来のために懸命に努力し、夢を実現するための励ましを与えてくれています。

　エンチャイルドのユニークな点についてお話しします。
　それは、親が（経済的な理由で）子供たちを学校に通わせることが困難な家庭の生徒を対象としている点です。

　私は8年以上にわたりエンチャイルドの一員です。幸運な個人として、また受益者として、私はずっと皆さんと一緒に歩み続けることができたことを感謝しています。私は祝福されています。

　皆さんは、私たちが支援を継続できるように、日本の地で一生懸命働いてくださっているのを知っています。そして皆さんの国が困難な状況な中にあっても、私たちを見捨てずサポートしてくださったことに感謝します。

　8年前、皆さんは、現在大学2年生として経営学を学ぶ「私」という一人の子どもに種を植えてくれました。皆さんの継続的なサポートを通して、私のように、人生の目標を達成するためにエンチャイルドを必要としている子どもたちがたくさんいるのです。

　私はバランガイ・マウグのエンチャイルド奨学生、アン・ドミニク・クリランです。

　改めて、ありがとうございます。

What makes NPO ENCHILD scholarship program different from others?

～NPO ENCHILD Scholar himself/herself will talk about the uniqueness & strong point of NPO ENCHILD education support program.

　A student like me who needs a financial support appreciate this kind of organization. An organization that helps many potential students who needs financial support, students who wants to continue their studies to be able to achieve their goals in life and to have a better future. It also a big help to each of our families to lessen the expenses that we have to pay. Enchild organization, they are not only focused on giving a financial support but also, they give encouragements to strive hard for our future and make it happen.

　They are different from others because this organization refers to those students whose parents are not capable to send their children to school. As an individual and beneficiary who are lucky to be part of this organization for more than 8 years, I’m very thankful and blessed to be with you for all these years. I know you all work hard there for us to be able to continue your support. And thank you for not giving up on us especially those hard times you encountered in your country.

　8 years ago, you build an individual who are now a 2nd year college student and currently studying as a Business Administration student. Through your continuous support. You’re not just helping an individual but a thousand of children who really needs this organization to achieve their goals in life like me.
