　エンチャイルド奨学生一人一人に物語があります。

　当ブログでも紹介している、奨学生たちが１年ごとに提出してくれている抱負メッセージや、オンライン交流会で発表してくれるスピーチの中に、その一端を見いだすことができます。

　フィリピンでの20年の月日を振り返ってみると、私の脳裏には、「出会い」「交流」、そして「成長」という言葉が浮かんできます。

　私たちは教育支援の中心に「家族愛」の精神を置いて国際協力事業を進めてきました。

　だからといって、「家族愛」なるものが一夜にして芽生えるものでもありません。

　家族愛から始まる出会いは、交流を重ね、徐々に育まれます。

　そして一人一人の成長とともに、家族愛は「かたち」を持つようになるのです。

　「かたち」は「形」となって現れます。

　その形が八つのエレメントです。

　共生、共食、共育、共助、共有、共感、共創、共観…です。

　エンチャイルドは、真の成長（自立）は共立の心（アティチュード）を育むようになると考えます。

　共立を形作る要素が8エレメントです。

　「共になす」ということは簡単ではありません。

　なぜなら、人間というものは生来、自己中心（生存欲求＝欠乏欲求が支配的、利己的）だからです。

　

　他者のために生き、共になす人生（ライフスタイル）を生きようとすれば、自己を超越させる欲求を獲得しなければならないということです。

　これが成長欲求を刺激するということの意味となります。

　エンチャイルドの社会教育（ピース・アドボケイト教育）は、この成長欲求をいかに刺激するかを目的としています。

　その具体的な取り組みの一つが、すでにご案内の「クリスマス（サンタになろう！）プロジェクト」です。

　

　エンチャイルド奨学生一人一人に物語があります。成長の物語です。

　受益者から支援者、与える人へ。それは成長の証しを意味するものです。

　エンチャイルド奨学生たちの抱負メッセージや、クリスマス・プロジェクトの成果を通して、彼らの成長に触れていただきたいと思います。

　成長の軌跡…。

　最初の一文が次の一文をつづらせ、ページは重ねられていくことでしょう。そして彼らの物語は１冊の本となるのです。

　

　「エンチャイルド・ファミリー」は、いくつもの成長の軌跡によって創出された家族愛の文化なのだと思います。

　Each ENCIHLD Scholar has a story.

　You can find a part of it in the messages of aspirations that the scholars submit every year, and in the speeches they give at the online exchange meetings, which you can read on this blog.

　When I look back over the past 20 years in the Philippines, the words “Meetings,” “Exchanges,” and “Growth” come to mind in my mind.

　We have been promoting international cooperation projects with the spirit of “family love” at the center of our education support.

　However, this does not mean that “family love” can sprout overnight.

　Meetings that begin with family love are gradually nurtured through repeated exchanges.

　As each individual grows up, family love takes on a “form”.

　The “form” appears as a “shape”.

　The “Eight Elements” are the shape.

　8 elements are the principle that means KYOSEI, KYOSHOKU, KYOIKU, KYOJO, KYOYU, KYOKAN, KYOSOU and KYOKAN.

★①KYOSEI：Living together, Interdependence, ②KYOSHOKU：Eating together, Sharing the dining, ③KYOIKU：Raising someone together, Caring someone together, Cultivate someone together, ④KYOJO：Helping each other, Mutual assistance, ⑤KYOYU：Sharing something together, Sharing situation through dialogue, ⑥KYOKAN：Sympathizing each other, Respecting each other, Understanding each other, ⑦KYOSOU：Creating together, ⑧KYOKAN：Seeing from the common viewpoint, Sharing common vision

　ENCHILD believes that true growth (Self-help) comes from developing the heart (attitude) of Kyoritsu (Co-Independence).

　

　The elements that form Kyoritsu are the 8 Elements.

　

　To “be together” is not an easy thing to do.

　This is because human beings are by nature self-centered (“Deficiency needs” are dominant, egocentric).

　To live for and with others (a lifestyle), we must acquire the desire to transcend the self.

　This is what we mean by stimulating the “Growth needs”.

　ENCHILD's social education (Peace Advocate Education) aims to stimulate this “Growth needs”.

　One of our concrete efforts is the “Christmas (Let's be Santa!) Project,” which we have already announced. 

　

　Each ENCHILD Scholar has a story to tell. It is a story of growth.

　From beneficiary to supporter, in other words, to giver. It is a proof of their growth.

　We would like you to get in touch with their growth through their messages of aspirations and the results of their Christmas projects.

　Foot print of their growth….

　The first sentence will be followed by the next, and the pages will be piled one on top of the other. Their story will become a book.

　I believe that the “ENCHILD Family” is a culture of family love that has been created through the foot print of their growth.
